This sequence of photographs documents the remarkable transformation of the main fireplace at the Tulakogee Conference Center on Ft. Gibson Lake. Sure, the stone looks great, but the real story is the fireplace surround. Don Burns made three large forms out of wood and brought them to us to fill. We were nervous about it, but Don was confident he could make everything work out. As you can see by these photos, he was right!
